Abstract closing date: 31st March 2025
All abstracts must be original work. They should be prepared using this template and in accordance with the following instructions:
- Abstracts should be typed into the template and saved on your computer for later reference.
- The filename of the Word document should only contain alpha/numeric characters with no spaces.
- The abstract should be formatted according to the details in the template.
- The body of your abstract (including any tables, graphs or images) should not exceed 300 words in length.
- Your abstract should be structured as follows: Introduction, Methods, Results, Conclusion, References (if necessary).
- Up to two full-colour tables, graphs and/or images may be included in the body of your abstract. Images should be 300 dpi clear with a legible typeface suitable for reproduction.
- Any references should be written according to Physical and Engineering Sciences in Medicine (PESM) journal format. Details can be found on the Springer PESM website under instructions to authors.
- As a blind abstract review process will be completed, please do not include any authors’ names or affiliations in the body of the abstract.
When submitting an abstract you confirm that all named authors have read and approved the abstract. Please ensure that the list of named authors is appropriate, when considering those who have contributed significantly to the work presented in the abstract (for more guidance on who to include please refer to the Springer authorship definition). All authors must be aware that accepted abstracts will be published in the Conference collateral. Please prepare your abstract with publication standards in mind. Please note that the copyright of the conference proceedings belongs to NZPEM 2025, but the copyright of the individual abstracts belongs to the authors.
Please check your abstract carefully as once submitted no further changes will be possible.
