TEAP ROMP Registrar Workshop

Dates: 15th and 16th May 2024

Location: Palmerston North (central, venue details to come)

Topic: Information and Communication Technology (Key Area 8)

The workshop will provide virtual and in-person expert lectures, plus registrar peer teaching, scenario based exercises and discussions with the aim of achieving sign off for a reasonable number of the KA8 learning outcomes following the workshop, and advice on further work for others. The content and level of the work should be of interest to registrars at all stages of training unless they have already completed all their KA8 sign offs (even in this case it may be useful as a refresher and a chance to network with their fellow registrars).

Confirmed details of topics to be covered will be provided closer to the time.

Logistics: Catering during the day will be provided but dinner and accommodation will have to be booked separately.

Pre-work requirements: Registrars will be tasked with preparing a short presentation about an aspect of your department’s OIS/R&V or artificial intelligence software. The exact topics will be assigned based on registrar responses to a survey (coming soon!) to ensure that we have good coverage of the required topics and technology.
